The Santa Ana Public Library (SAPL) is proud to announce three major projects launching in July 2025 that will expand access to learning, creativity, and connection across the city. | | Newhope Library Renovation Anticipated to Begin July 2, 2025 | |
The Newhope Library will undergo an exciting renovation anticipated to begin July 2nd, 2025. Due to this renovation, programming will be paused at this location to allow staff to transition to the new Delhi Library Branch. Due to the upcoming renovation, parking will be limited beginning June 16.
Highlights of this renovation include a new glass storefront-style entrance and lobby, a brand-new Innovation Center with upgraded technology for STEM learning, a fully renovated outdoor patio with new seating and shade structure, a new reimagined colorful and inviting building façade, and a fully modernized interior. Newhope Library is expected to reopen in Spring 2026.
| New Delhi Library Branch Expected to Open July 3, 2025 | | This long-anticipated addition inside the Delhi Center will bring Library Services to the South side of Santa Ana for the first time ever. We anticipate welcoming you to our exciting new space on July 3rd, 2025! Highlights of this branch include an innovative glass storefront-style entrance, modern furniture and interior finishes, a special Knowledge Bar area to assist patrons with technology needs, and a new outdoor patio with play features and extra space for library programs.
