In honor of Asian/Pacific Islander American Heritage month, the Santa Ana Public Library will host a variety of cultural programs that showcase and celebrate our diverse community. All of our events are free and open to the public.

AAPI Cultural Craft Corner

Kids will explore traditions from across Asia and the Pacific, making fun projects. Each craft includes a short story about its cultural significance. All supplies provided—just bring your creativity!

New Wave Documentary Screening 

Enjoy a special free screening of Elizabeth Ai’s acclaimed and award-winning documentary film New Wave at The Frida Cinema. New Wave explores how music, fashion, and rebellion can be a force for healing, and it’s a love letter to the first generation of Vietnamese rebels who came of age in the 1980s. There will be a Q & A session after the screening.
