Moffat Library, in conjunction with the National Digital Inclusion Alliance & Hudson Valley libraries, wants community members to have access to low-cost internet service, devices and the digital skills to use them.

We will help you navigate the process of finding low-cost internet through the Affordable Connectivity Program and build your confidence in using devices & the Internet to accomplish your goals.

Looking to get connected to the internet at home? Join one of our librarians for an in-person program to explore government and private subsidies to obtain low-cost or even free broadband access.

We will also have time after the program to discuss individual tech questions.

You may already have home internet and a device, but that doesn't mean you are using it as well as you like!

Join one of our librarians for an in-person program to discuss some common computer skills, strategies to stay safe online, and resources you can use to practice what you learn. We will also have time after the program to discuss individual tech questions.

Our tech-savvy librarian, David Sadoff is available afternoons Tuesday through Thursday and all-day Saturday for half-hour to 45-minute sessions to help you get the most out of your device or to consider a tech problem.

THE FRISBEE FAMILY

Presented annually by the Moffat Library of Trustees the Volunteer of the Year Award for 2021 went to Christine, Connor, Samantha, Michaela & Miranda Frisbee, collectively the Frisbee family!

At the award ceremony and reception for the family on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 7:30 pm they were pictured (top) with Moffat Library Board President, Dennis Barnett, (far left) after the presentation of their award.

Pictured below are the Frisbee family (right from left, Christine, Miranda, Samantha, Michaela & Connor, flanking Michael Anagnostakis, a representative from New York Senator James Skoufis's office, who also presented the family with a New York State Assembly's Certificate of Merit and a Certificate of Appreciation from Senator James Skoufis!
