Young Artist's Studio: Bilingual Yoga for Kids

Join us for the next installment of our Young Artist’s Studio with local artist Citlaly Stanton for a chance to practice some basic yoga poses AND Spanish words. Citlaly has grown a love for teaching yoga classes for children where she invites youth to learn introductory poses alongside the Spanish language. Dress comfortably and get ready to strike a pose--yoga that is!

The Young Artist's Studio is a series of art workshops sponsored by  The Urbana Free Library  and the the Urbana Arts & Culture Program  designed to offer youth an opportunity to explore the arts! All events in the series are free and open to the public.

Queens' Holiday: Drag Queen Story Hour

Drag queen story hour for all ages!

The weather outside is frightful, but Drag Queen Story Hour is so delightful! Come as you are or wear your sparkles and finest dress up. There will be stories, crafts and a friendly holiday vibe! All are welcome.
Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) was developed by Michelle Tea, and RADAR Productions. Many libraries host DQSR events as a way of celebrating diversity, building empathy and helping to curb bullying of LGBTQ kids.

Join us as we welcome musician Mr. Stephens and magician Greg Loschen for a count down to Noon Year's Eve ! Mr. Stephens will share super-fun kids music for super-fun kids, Greg Mr. Loschen will share dazzling magic tricks, and you can make your own Noon Year's Eve crafts to take home!
