Library Lending Successfully Restarts
The "curbside pickup" of items from the library is off to a strong start, keeping staff hopping to answer requests and schedule pickup times. The book drop is filled to the brim each day with returned books.

Requests can be made by phone and online, including placing holds in our catalog . ( Watch the video for help)

Check the new item lists at the top of the catalog page, or find photos of them on Instagram .

Tech Tips
Zoom instructions for beginners are now available on the Library website. More will be added soon, for people who already use Zoom but want to know about using features such as screen sharing.

Community News
Memorial Day will not include parades or public gatherings this year. However, on Friday May 22 at 11 am the Kearsarge Regional School District and the Center for the Arts are hosting a virtual program with Trooper Dan that can be viewed on the District's facebook page and website .

Miss Sue's News (for Kids)
Join Children's Librarian Sue Matott ("Miss Sue") for Thursday Storytime at 10:30 am

Next Thursday, May 28th, at 10:30 is the annual Teddy Bear "picnic " - this year via Zoom. Show off your lovey or teddy bear: there will be dancing, reading, singing, and a project to do at home. Have a picnic afterwards at home and send Miss Sue a picture!
Chapter book listeners - the first book is finished. Audio recording are online .
Parents - would you like Miss Sue to continue doing a reading or something via Zoom for the month of June, or would you prefer a "break" before the Summer Program starts in July? Contact Sue

The Great Stone Face Book Award party via Zoom this week included a guessing game and a sneak peak at the books for the coming year (but no potluck food!). Miss Sue will send in the votes and will announce which book wins Statewide.

Summer Program- "Imagine Your Story " is being finalized. Miss Sue isn't sure what format it'll be yet. That will be determined by CDC and Governor's guidelines. If nothing else, it will be kits by curbside pickup.
Library Trustees' Meetings
At the Library Trustees' meeting on May 19 held via Zoom, the Board discussed a Pandemic Policy which will be voted on at their next meeting, and also voted to gratefully accept, as a gift from Susan Taggart, the grandfather clock that she won in the Circle of Friends' March raffle. Zoom links to Trustee meetings are published 24-48 hours in advance on the Warner Events Calendar.

Movies
Kanopy movie service ' s credit-free title selections will end on June 1st. When you have used up your 3 monthly credits, remember you can borrow DVD's from the Library for two weeks with our curbside pickup.

Sue Suggests
If you enjoyed the poetry book "after Dark" on the rail trail Story Walk, you may want to borrow some of the Library's children's poetry books! You can search our catalog using key words Juvenile Poetry or 811 .

Volunteers in the Spotlight
