Celebrate The Overstory
SaratogaREADS! Programming in April
More about The Overstory: In Powers’ epic and immensely readable ecological novel, people from multiple generations have extraordinary personal, emotional, and political encounters with trees. These encounters provide a window into the hidden and not-so-hidden ways that trees are inextricably connected to one another, and to us. Combining timely and fascinating science, vivid characters, masterful storytelling, and beautiful writing, The Overstory, which won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, is certain to spark many conversations about the urgent need to pay attention to our natural surroundings.
