LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR-ELECT JONES ANNOUNCES STAFF HIRES
JACKSON, Ga – Today, Lieutenant Governor-Elect Burt Jones announced the hiring of his Chief of Staff as well as other staff members as he transitions into office ahead of inauguration. Loree Anne Paradise will serve as Chief of Staff, bringing over a decade of political and state government experience, most recently as legal advisor and chief fundraiser to Lieutenant Governor-Elect Jones' successful campaign. Brad Vaughan will serve as Legislative Director and Counsel; Ines Owens will serve as Policy and Communications Director; Denese Sampson will serve as Director of Constituent Services; Tiffany Hull will serve as Director of Operations and Scheduling; and Ben Garcia will serve as Legislative Liaison.

Chief of Staff and Counsel: Loree Anne Paradise
|
|
Loree Anne Paradise is a successful and highly-regarded attorney with experience in campaign finance and regulatory compliance, constitutional and election law litigation, and government affairs management. She is also a seasoned political operative, having most recently served as legal advisor and chief fundraiser for Lieutenant Governor-Elect Jones' successful campaign that raised over $12 million. Loree Anne also served as Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff for Attorney General Josh Hawley (Missouri). In these roles, Loree Anne managed approximately 400 Attorney General Office employees, including attorneys and staff, and she managed the press, constituent services, legislative, and operations departments. She also participated as co-counsel on various criminal prosecutions, Sunshine law complaints, and appellate cases.
Prior to her time working in the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, Loree Anne served as Communications Director for U.S. Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA) and Press Secretary for U.S. Congressmen David McKinley (R-WV) and John Culbertson (R-TX). Loree Anne has also held official roles with numerous campaigns, including Finance Assistant for Hawley for Missouri, and Campaign Manager, Finance Director, and Press Secretary for Congressman Collins.
Legislative Director and Counsel: Brad Vaughan

A native Tennessean, Brad Vaughan joins the Lieutenant Governor’s Office after over a decade in private law practice, public policy advocacy, and government service. A former member of the Georgia Senate policy staff, Brad most recently served as a staff attorney for Justice Charlie Bethel on the Supreme Court of Georgia. Vaughan earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science, a master’s degree in Business Administration, and a law degree from the University of Tennessee. Brad is an avid sports fan and golfer and resides in Woodstock with his wife and child.
Policy and Communications Director: Ines Owens

Ines Owens has more than 12 years of experience working with state policy issues, including over seven years of service under the Gold Dome as a legislative staffer for the Georgia State Senate. She served four years as director of the Senate Press Office. Prior to joining the Lt. Governor’s staff, Owens worked in Government Affairs for Emory University/Healthcare, Grady Health System and the Association County Commissioners of Georgia. Owens has a BA in Political Science and a BA in Sociology from the University of Georgia and resides in Woodstock with her husband and two children.
Director of Constituent Services: Denese Sampson

Since 1996, Denese Sampson has worked in the Senate as a Legislative Assistant working with Senators from districts across the state of Georgia. She has served as recording secretary for multiple standing Senate Committees and in 2015 was appointed to serve on the inaugural Senate Task Force. Sampson achieved her first Bachelor of Science in Management in 2021, and plans to pursue a Master of Public Management and Policy. Denese is a native Atlantan and proud product of Atlanta Public Schools. She has five adult children and three grandchildren, and enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Director of Operations and Scheduling: Tiffany Hull

Before joining the Lt. Governor’s Office, Tiffany Hull served as a dedicated volunteer for his campaign prior to joining the campaign staff as his scheduler in June. Tiffany has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Georgia College & State University and a Master's in Business Education from the State University of West Georgia. She currently resides in Jackson with her husband and two children.
Legislative Liaison: Ben Garcia

Ben Garcia is from Columbus, Georgia. Since 2020, he has served as a Senate Aide in the Georgia General Assembly as well as travel aide and executive assistant to Lieutenant Governor-Elect Jones’ campaign. Prior to that, Ben interned with Troutman Pepper Strategies.
