JOINT STATEMENT

Better Together

This school year, our two organizations worked together in big ways to expand our performing arts programming, create our first-ever summer athletics camps, and co-sponsor events to build community and connections.

As we close out this school year, we want to acknowledge the hard work and whole-hearted dedication of our students, families, staff, board members, and community partners who bring their time, energy, and gifts to make our schools and our school communities among the finest anywhere.

In partnership,

Dr. Matthew Wunder, CEO/Superintendent

Presentations of Learning

A signature practice at Da Vinci Schools, Presentations of Learning, also known as POLs, are currently happening across our schools in grades TK through 12th. POLs provide students the opportunity to develop their public speaking and presentation skills, reflect on their learning and growth in the project-based learning environment, demonstrate their understanding and mastery of the content using effective communication and technology skills, celebrate successes, receive feedback, and determine next steps for growth – all skills that will serve students well in college, career and life. Because these are formal presentations, students are expected to wear formal attire.

Check out this video to learn more about POLs.
