Celebrating a Milestone Month: May Highlights and Senior Send-Offs

We’re wrapping up one of the most exciting times of the school year. May has been packed with year-end exhibitions, senior showcases, college acceptances, Commitment Day celebrations, performances, field trips, awards nights, playoff games, and much more. We're also filled with deep appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff who are always all-in for our kids.

We’re incredibly proud of the Class of 2025 as they finish their high school journey and prepare for what’s next. Graduation is just around the corner—please remember tickets are required for in-person attendance, and all ceremonies will be livestreamed for friends and family.

Celebrating the Future: Commitment Days Highlight Senior Successes

Each spring, schools nationwide celebrate Commitment Day to honor graduating seniors and their post-high school plans. Whether heading to community college, a four-year university, the workforce, Da Vinci’s new LifeLaunch programs, or the military, Da Vinci graduates are ready for college, career and life.

Da Vinci Seniors Tackle the “Water to Wilderness” Design Challenge



For most high school students, senior year is a time of wrapping up and looking back. But for Da Vinci Science students in the Civil Engineering & Architecture (CEA) pathway, it’s also a time of building—literally. This spring, 26 CEA seniors took on Water to Wilderness, a capstone design challenge that blended engineering, creativity, collaboration, and a bit of outdoor adventure.

On May 21st, Da Vinci Design celebrated its annual Senior Showcase at the picturesque WWOO Concrete Outdoor Kitchen and garden space in El Segundo. The evening was a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and collaboration as friends, family, and community members gathered to honor the graduating class. At the heart of the event was a shared commitment to building a better world—one project, one partnership, one student at a time.

At Da Vinci Schools, we believe education is about more than academics—it’s a journey about self-discovery. From TK through high school, students explore who they are, what matters to them, and how they hope to contribute to the world. Along the way, they discover their interests, shape their values, and build a strong foundation for the important decisions ahead. 

New Fine Arts Pathway at Da Vinci Design Blends Studio Skills with Real-World Experience

This year, Da Vinci Design proudly launched its Fine Arts Pathway, an innovative program that prepares students for informed career and higher education choices in commercial and visual art fields. The pathway provides a strong technical, historical, and theoretical foundation that parallels 2D/3D studio art coursework taught in college.

Musical Theatre in Wiseburn Welcomes A Year of Firsts!

We are celebrating some amazing theatrical firsts in Wiseburn this month! From our high school production of GREASE! receiving a BEST ENSEMBLE nomination from the esteemed Jerry Herman Awards, to our district’s middle school hosting its first musical theatre production after the pandemic. Singing, dancing, storytelling and self-esteem are blossoming and flourishing in Wiseburn!

Closing Out the Season: Spring Sports in Review

As the Wiseburn Da Vinci 2024-25 spring sports season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the outstanding efforts of our student-athletes. This season has been one to remember — many of our teams advanced to postseason play, a testament to the hard work, dedication, and growth displayed throughout the year.
