Hi everyone. First wanted I wanted to clear up last week's link to "LOVE NEVER DIE", the one I used on Youtube was a badly shot amateur video taken during a performance. The one I wanted to use has been removed by Paramount Pictures and was a beautifully filmed movie of the London Companies production, which you may be able to find on Netflix.

 

So we had a nice full house this week with a very receptive audience and no talking which was a real pleasure, and 25 singers so JOEL BAKER started off with "I Wish I Were In Love Again" then me with "They Can't Take That Away From Me". Then on to our super talented line up of singers starting with a wonderful new singer named THERESE LEE with "You Go To My Head". Then the birthday star of the night who sang "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" then we gave her a cake and sang Happy Birthday and she blew out the candles. JEFF LESSER came with two great songs "It's A Fine Line" and a medley with "It's My Turn" and "Go West". JB brought us two brand new songs, "Lasso The Moon" and "Hands Of Time". BRAD SEIPLE had us all singing along to "Rocket Man" and got some cheers after his "Bring Him Home" and a "Oh Geez" from Noni.  Next was PATTI GALLAGHER doing "The Waltz In Three-Quarter Time" and "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes". PAT MCCANN still high off her recent hit show at Arthur Newman Theater, sang "Watch What Happens" and "Why Wonder Why". Then that Oh Geez NONI LAMBERTSON with "Not Too Young To Love", and "Bewitched". Another singer who got cheers was ALAN JON doing "Miriah", and "My Favorite Year". MARCIA HARP wowed the audience with "Who Can I Turn To", and "The Best Thing You've Ever Done". Also back we had the fabulous BETH FORMELOZA who sang "Impossible", and "Don't Take Your Love Away From Me". Also pretty fabulous these days was FERDIE FORMELOZO who sang "You're Still You", and "I Wish You Love". Back again we had the new singer everyone loved two weeks ago, DAVID BADER with "All Of Me", and "A Foggy Day". Another new singer was next also named David, DAVID BRUNS with a great song called "The Joys Of Love". NEVADO TAYLOR, who you an see on Facebook all over town at all the best night spot, came to sing for us "There's A Kind Of Hush" letting us help with the chorus. Also back we had FRED HARDIN who as always was a lot of fun with his "Don't Get Around Much Anymore". Another new singer/actress from Los Angeles was LEANNA RODGERS with "Nature Boy". She was followed by ROY PROVANCE who played the piano and sang "Forget The Woman". The GINO CARMODY did "If I Loved You", and "Till There Was You". RENO BARELA sang for us again doing "This Guys In Love With You". And a sensational singer who i remember came in a month ago named CAROL DAVIS who blew us all away with "Georgia", she said she sings on Fridays at NICOLINO'S and worth the trip to see her. MICHAEL BLAKE also dropped by to sing "The Summer Wind". And we got to hear TONY DESIENA doing "God Bless The Child". So that was it and I promise this Saturday will be another not to be missed night with some of the very best singers anywhere. Make reservations and come and see us, or maybe sing with us - or both!
