History Tidbit:
Murray Dairy Farm
Just had a quick Uncle Willy moment with a nice ripe pear, the man did enjoy a ripe pear! Well he's still in my thoughts..

The Murray Farm was purchased in 1906 by my grandfather James Murray from Freeman Kaizer, so far 4 generations of Murray's have lived and worked here. It was a working dairy farm until we sold the cows in 1986, we delivered milk throughout the Bridgewater’s, first by horse and wagon, then a Ford model T truck and down through the years with some Chevrolet and International Pickups to a few Divco's and ending with a Ford pickup.

Connecting Through Words... Long Distance... Sweden to Bridgewater
Do you ever think about what you wanted to do when you were younger? Did your aspirations become a reality?

They have for Joseph Davis, pictured above with his father; Bridgewater resident Chris Davis. On the left you'll see Davis' father enjoying Bridgewater summer day reading his son's Swedish fantasy novel, The Darkenstar.

Joe moved to Sweden in 2010 after studying Theology, Youth Ministry and Scandanavian Studies at North Park University in Chicago. Origionally the novel was written and published in Swedish. Now, because of it's sucess, The Darkenstar is available in English, and Joe can share it with his family and friends (especially those in Bridgewater and Easton), The best chapter the Davis' are on- is the current one.
