Groundbreaking conference for medical professionals
In 2014, when Planned Parenthood South opened its doors, the Catholic Pro-Life Committee began a campaign to educate the surrounding community. What we quickly learned from the doctors and nurses who support our ministry is that there was a substantial education gap that needed filling. So the CPLC embarked on a first-ever collaboration with the Dallas Diocese Catholic Physicians Guild to put on a conference at Medical City on the physiological and psychological effects of abortion as well as natural fertility care and treatment. ...  Continue reading

It was Christmas Eve when I heard from her. This woman had been on our "care radar" for some time and came very close to attending a Rachel's Vineyard Retreat this past year, but she could not yet find the courage. Then the email came in..."I need a priest. I want to confess this sin." My
immediate mental reaction was... oh no.... how am I EVER going to find a priest on Christmas Eve day. But I told her I would do everything I could as I began to mentally survey who I had the best chance of locating. I knew exactly who we needed.
