OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FROM PARTNERS:

This year, to comply with federal rules, only traditional in-person students will be able to get summer 2023 P-EBT. Young children under age 6, and fully virtual and homeschooled students are not eligible for the summer 2023 program. Students are eligible for summer 2023 P-EBT if:

1. Student attends a traditional, in-person school in May 2023, AND

2. Student is eligible for NSLP free or reduced-price school meals by May 31, 2023.

Unlike last year, applying during the summer is impossible this year. Key summer 2023 P-EBT dates to watch for:

May 1: Apply for free or reduced-price school meals / NCFNS to be considered for P-EBT eligibility by this date because applications can take 30+ days to process.

May 31: Deadline for program eligibility.

End of July: The one-time summer 2023 benefit of $120 is deposited for most households. Benefits will be made available within 10 days of issuance. Some students may get the benefit in August.
