Family Self-Sufficiency Program

The Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS) is a voluntary program for households enrolled in Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, and Project-Based Voucher programs to help them increase their earnings and build financial capability and assets.

Are you ready for an extraordinary Halloween adventure? Prepare to be captivated by our thrilling four-part series, where slime, ghosts, coding, and witches' brews collide in a spine-chilling journey! It's a journey that will ignite creativity, problem-solving skills, and a sense of wonder.

The Teens Gotta Talk Program is an excellent opportunity for teens to connect with others who are facing similar challenges and to learn valuable skills and strategies to help them navigate life's ups and downs. By participating in this program, teens will gain a greater understanding of themselves and their emotions, develop stronger relationships with others, and build the resilience they need to thrive both now and in the future.


This class is available in-person and online.

Target audience - High schoolers in 9th-12th grade

(13 - 18 years old)

Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form allows you to be considered for federal student aid. In addition, states and colleges use FAFSA information to award their own grants, scholarships, and loans. But, since aid is limited, you have to meet the deadlines!

This United Way-led collaborative supports the entire household in reaching their goals – whether they are in education, career, family & relationships, health & wellness, or financial. The Family Success Center’s strengths-based approach to service delivery empowers individuals and families to overcome barriers and progress toward their goals.

The Center for Disease Control’s Together TakeMeHome FREE HIV Self-Test Kits Program

Together TakeMeHome is a national direct-to-consumer program that offers free HIV self-tests by mail. People can order up to two free HIV self-tests every 90 days.

Each household may receive FOUR FREE at-⁠home COVID-19 tests this fall.

The Test to Treat initiative is available at thousands of locations nationwide, including pharmacy-based clinics, federally-funded health centers, long-term care facilities, and community-based sites.

Community COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics
Cone Health is offering a series of mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics throughout our communities.


VACCINES ARE FREE. No ID Required. Appointments are strongly encouraged.

Please wear a mask, plan to remain socially distanced, and wear loose clothing.

What To Expect
  • Wait time of 15 minutes after vaccination or 30 minutes with prior history of vaccination reactions.
  • Common side effects: pain and swelling at the injection site, fever, chills, tiredness, and headaches
  • For Pfizer and Moderna clinics, you will receive an appointment date for your second shot

IMPORTANT: Pfizer clinics are for ages 12+. All other vaccine types are 18+.
