This popular annual event features dances from around the world! FREE to attend. Monetary donations will be collected at the event. In addition to the performances, you can enjoy an international craft bazaar, raffles, and more! Proceeds benefit Greensboro Urban Ministry and A Simple Gesture.

Family Self-Sufficiency Program

The Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS) is a voluntary program for households enrolled in Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, and Project-Based Voucher programs to help them increase their earnings and build financial capability and assets.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH:

R.E.D. Zone Football Clinic

Don't let football season catch your child off guard. Starting Monday, February 19 - Monday, March 25, 2024, Greensboro Parks and Recreations is preparing for the 2024 R.E.D. Zone Football program. ***GHA residents pay a $27.00 registration fee and can attend for free. You must fill out the membership application and submit a copy of your lease.***


Non-GHA residents (14 and up) attend for $10/month after the $27 registration fee.

Youth ages 13-17 are invited to come and roll with us every Third Thursday through March! We'll have skating, fun music, and snacks. There will be a limited number of roller skates available to borrow. This event is free and no registration is required.

Community COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics
Cone Health is offering a series of mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics throughout our communities.


VACCINES ARE FREE. No ID Required. Appointments are strongly encouraged.

Please wear a mask, plan to remain socially distanced, and wear loose clothing.

What To Expect
  • Wait time of 15 minutes after vaccination or 30 minutes with prior history of vaccination reactions.
  • Common side effects: pain and swelling at the injection site, fever, chills, tiredness, and headaches
  • For Pfizer and Moderna clinics, you will receive an appointment date for your second shot

IMPORTANT: Pfizer clinics are for ages 12+. All other vaccine types are 18+.
