Life happens in a chaotic and unpredictable way and there is an essential and private relationship between us and the world that is revealed when we sit down to a blank page.

Writing about your life is a way to make sense of your life; it helps to heal and is an amazing way to leave behind a legacy - your legacy. We get to know our own Story.

In this workshop, you have the opportunity to gather moments of time and piece together the tapestry of your life. We will work in different sections of our lives; we are always ‘moving’. To move forwards, sometimes we need to move backward – but always through the hinge of ‘Now, the Open Moment.’

Participants have the opportunity to move progressively to deeper levels of their awareness or life experience and through a particular exercise can gain feedback/insight from their current position in life. A period of quiet follows after each writing exercise to honour the story and the writer.

There is no group discussion or commenting on what a person has written. Sharing is voluntary and comes from the principle that you can ‘listen yourself into deeper understanding.'

Goals include:

  • Identify the significant steps in your life that have brought you to where you are right now,
  • Look at the roads taken and not taken in your life to date.
  • Explore your sense of meaning in life and what’s important to you,
  • Explore your Life Cycles.
