Charlotte Lab School has been recognized as a 2022 Best of the Best BOB from Charlotte Magazine in the category of "Best Public or Charter School." The BOB Awards are a way for local residents to vote for the places that make Charlotte an outstanding place to live. We are delighted to be acknowledged in this way!
Third grade students in Ms. Montgomery’s class examined current pressures on the Earth’s environment and ways to “green” our school and community by making improvements through action. These students practiced multiple skills through Lab's rigorous Quest program which included research, project development, and making presentations to school leaders.
The admissions lottery was held at Charlotte Lab School on March 31. Several applicants attended the public session. All applicants received an email notification on that day.
Lab is still accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year. New applicants will be added to the waitlist in order of submission.
Charlotte Lab Head of Primary School, Meg Scott was invited to be a panelist this winter at SXSW EDU in Austin, TX. Ms. Scott's presentation focused on the work that she and her colleagues at Lab have been doing to reimagine and personalize education through the many challenges faced by students and educators during the pandemic.
