According to the Indiana Association of REALTORS® (IAR), activity in March 2025 reflects a competitive yet encouraging landscape for both buyers and sellers across Jasper, Lake, LaPorte, Newton, Porter, Pulaski, and Starke counties.

Key Market Highlights

• Closed Sales: 671 homes sold in March, down 2% YoY
• New Listings: 1,010 new homes hit the market—up 17% YoY
• Pending Sales: 940 homes went under contract, a 12% increase
• Inventory Levels: Average daily inventory up 15% YoY to 1,894 homes
• Median Sale Price: Increased 4% year-over-year to $245,500
• Median Days on Market: Homes sold in 16 days (up from 12 last year)
• Months of Inventory: 2.8 months—up 18% YoY
• Sale-to-List Price Ratio: 94.5%, slightly down from 95.5%
