We invite you to once again join Valley Christian teacher Saul Drevitch for a 4-week evening teaching series called, The United States of Race: Why Black History Matters.

Sports Physicals
This is a reminder that in order to participate in athletics at Valley Christian, you must have a current physical on file with the Athletic Department.  The physical is good for one year from the date of visit.  Spring sports are beginning the first week of February.  If your student is planning to play a spring sport, please make arrangements with your student's doctor to have their physical completed.  Go to and download the Sports Physical Form to bring to your doctor.
Calling all High School students! Do you love to swim?
Are you interested in developing your stroke technique? Swimmers of all abilities are encouraged to join the Valley Christian High School Swim Team. Practices will be held after school starting February 6. Contact the Athletics Department or email Mrs. Weber at   ASAP to reserve your spot!
In Chapel next week we will continue our study on Labels. We will be praying for our students who struggle with feeling defeated, those who have felt  inferior, our Nation's transition to a new President, and easing tension and differences in our world. We will be paying a special tribute to MLK Jr. during this time. Please feel free to join us in this posture of prayer.

Middle School Girls Volleyball and Middle School Boys Soccer Tryouts
We will have our Winter Season tryouts for middle school girls volleyball and boys soccer on January 23 and 24, 3:15-4:30pm.  Girls volleyball will meet in the gym and the boys soccer will meet on the soccer field.  Coach Sara Heise will lead our girls volleyball team and Coach Chris Young will lead our boys soccer team.  All middle school students are encouraged to tryout regardless of skill level.  More information regarding games and practices schedules will be given out to parents at the conclusion of tryouts.
