The re-enrollment season is near ending and we have been accepting  students across all schools to begin their journey at Valley Christian!  If you haven't finalized your re-enrollment decision, please contact Holly Johnson at 925-560-6256 or [email protected]. We'd love to help you by answering any questions you may have for the 2017-18 school year.

End of year housekeeping!

As we prepare for the last week of school:
  • Remind your students to check the lost and found for clothes and lunch boxes
  • Make sure to pay all negative balances for your lunch account
  • Bring a paper bag during the last week of school for your student to clear out their desks and lockers
  • After Middle and High school students clean out their locker, remind them to bring their lock home so they can reuse it in the fall!
TIP:  have them write down their combination and take a photo of it - a good reminder after the lazy days of summer!

Special Mother's Day Chapel Review from May 11
This year's chapel theme is Created To Cherish. At our special Mother's Day chapel, moms were honored by cherishing how uniquely and wonderfully God made them.  Our chapel message,  'Mom is Like A Shepherd', was based on Psalm 23. The heartfelt student video messages, the worship, and special music showed our moms how much we cherished them.

 Happy Mother's Day!

Professional Development Training for Project GLAD
You may have noticed some of our classes had substitute teachers this week. That's because our teachers were off campus honing their skills at the Be GLAD seminars.

Project GLAD is an organization that models and provides strategies to teachers to improve student engagement and learning during lessons. GLAD uses data-driven theory that is then transferred into practical teaching application. This is our third group of teachers to attend this high quality, creative program!

You may be asking yourself, "How can I help?"  It's simple.  We need volunteers June 28-July 4.  We have multiple blocks of time that are available and if you have an athlete that will participate or has participated in athletics, this is a great way to invest in our athletics program. You can sign up on our Sign-Up Genius!

Another way you can help is to get the word out to your friends and family about the location of our booth.  If you want fireworks, come and see us at the fireworks booth for you purchases and help support Valley Christian athletes.
