Information is powerful and can save a life. We can choose life or death when it comes to taking care of our health. For example, do you get an annual physical? Are you always putting things off when it comes to your health? Sometimes delays are harmful as it relates to your health. Preventive health care may extend a life. Keeping us on track yearly is the National Women's Health Week (NWHW). It is an observance led by The U.S.Office of Health and Human Services Office on Women Health whose goal to empower women to make health a priority. NWHW kicks off on Mother's Day May 14  and is celebrated through May 20, 2017. Join GWWN in spreading the word!

A smile is a silent gesture speaking a global  message in all languages. When you smile your brain responds changing your mood and emotions. You feel good on the inside. Wearing a smile has a positive affect on others. It is our nature to smile whether we choose to smile or not. A smile is contagious and can encourage someone who is feeling down. 'If you see someone who is not wearing a smile, give them one of yours'- it's free. Daily wear more smiles to help make the world a little brighter. For a healthier choice, conduct a smile poem search to see how many you can find. Read them aloud to experience the impact they will have on you-and smile. Are you familiar with the poem " A Smile is a Funny thing "? Learn More
