Celebrating Independence 365 Days a Year!
As we celebrate Independence Day this holiday weekend, we are grateful to you, our faithful supporters, who make it possible for thousands of central Ohio neighbors to maintain independence and dignity.

With your continued support, LifeCare Alliance continues to answer the call to serve on the front lines in central Ohio. Since March 1st, weekly Meals-on-Wheels delivery continues at a 65% increase in meals, and our Groceries-to-Go pantry has similarly seen increases up to 53%.

Thank you for making it possible to accept all those in need, without a waiting list for services. You help us delivery independence 365 days a year!

Program Spotlight: Wellness
June marked the month of LifeCare Alliance's incorporation in 1898! The Agency's nurses have been on the front lines since the very beginning, upholding Catherine Nelson Black's founding vision. This month, we think back to our founding roots as the Instructive District Nurses Association, to highlight our Wellness Program, which offers low-cost, high-quality health services for older adults throughout Franklin County.

We hope you enjoy this quote from an early newspaper article, which describes what the work looked like in 1901. "It remains for the Instructive District Nursing Association to step in with tender hands and loving hearts to relieve the illness and suffering of those in the deep waters of trouble." (Columbus Sunday Dispatch, 1901)

Today, Wellness Services take a proactive and preventative approach. Our nurses are found in the community every day, serving through our Senior Wellness Centers and helping people to maintain mobility and independence as they age.
Volunteers, we need you!
While the community has partially re-opened, the increase in need remains. Volunteers, you are our heroes, helping to get every meal or grocery order delivered!
