- This is possible because of our Success Model: volunteerism, fundraising, social enterprise, merger partnerships, and building an endowment.
As traditional funding sources continue to erode, this is how we continue to bridge the gap. 2019 brings a fresh reminder of this challenge, as we have learned of a significant and unexpected funding cut this year.

Program Spotlight: Meals-on-Wheels
|
|
“I get Meals-on-Wheels because I can’t be
on my feet too long to fix things myself. ...
I don't know what I'd do without it
and I appreciate it so much."
Leona is 94 years old and receives Meals-on-Wheels through LifeCare Alliance. She requires oxygen and finds it difficult to get out of her home to purchase basic necessities like food.
In addition to a hot meal, those who deliver also provide a daily wellness check for each client. Click the photo above to watch a video about Leona.

CCL Service Day
The Columbus Catholic League, which includes St. Charles, St. Francis DeSales, Bishop Watterson, Bishop Ready, and Bishop Hartley, came together this Presidents Day to volunteer! Over 175 students volunteered at our meal distribution center and delivered Meals-on-Wheels. We are grateful for their service!
