Your gift may be eligible for two match opportunities. As we celebrate 120 years of serving central Ohio, 2018 is an exciting year to support LifeCare Alliance!

  • We have received a Challenge Gift from an anonymous donor, who will match new or increased donations 100% up to $200,000 in 2018. Click here to make your donation online, and enter "Challenge Gift" in the Gift Note field.

  • A generous anonymous donor will match endowment gifts up to $5 million! The goal is to increase the Agency’s endowment to $20 million, which would provide $1 million in interest annually. Help Central Ohio Beat the Heat this Summer!
LifeCare Alliance's “Beat the Heat” program distributes fans to our central Ohio neighbors at risk of heat stroke or heat exhaustion throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

Individuals, groups, and businesses can donate new fans for this annual program by taking the fans to the nearest fire station. 

Volunteers are needed to retrieve donated fans at fire stations and transport them to our distribution site at 670 Harmon Avenue.

Congratulations to all of our Spirit Award winners at this year's Volunteer Recognition events!

LifeCare Alliance held a series of seven events to recognize the outstanding volunteers who help expand our reach throughout the five counties we serve. Without our volunteers, we would lose our ability to provide services to all eligible clients without a waiting list.

Client Spotlight: Laraine G., Columbus Cancer Clinic
Laraine G. was resisting cutting her hair while undergoing cancer treatment. But once she began losing her hair, she finally allowed a relative to go ahead and cut it off.

Laraine then looked into getting a wig from the hospital where she was receiving treatment. She was shocked to learn how expensive they are, and she knew it would be difficult to afford.

A friend found out about the Columbus Cancer Clinic's wig room, which provides donated wigs to cancer patients at no charge. Laraine called and made an appointment. She came in for a wig fitting with two friends supporting her.

After receiving three wigs, Laraine has gained confidence and is grateful for the Cancer Clinic's assistance. She hopes that by sharing her experience, she will help other patients know about the options available to them.
