Annual Update: Celebrating 120 Years of Service
|
LifeCare Alliance is proud to share our newest
Annual Update
— a progress report on the services that we provide throughout the central Ohio community, as well as a celebration of our 120th year of
Nourishing the Human Spirit
.
With the growing success of our social enterprise, volunteer engagement, and merger partnerships, LifeCare Alliance continues to prepare itself to serve clients of today, as well as clients of tomorrow!
In 2017, social enterprise and fundraising represented 42% of our total revenues. That's huge when you consider that in 2000 that number was close to zero. We continue the vision of our founder, Catherine Nelson Black, while remaining one of the few agencies of our kind accepting all qualified clients in need.
With the release of our Annual Update this month, you will see the continued impact of our services on the central Ohio community. You will also learn more about our Endowment Campaign and "Challenge Gift."
Thank you for standing with us for another year. Together, we are
Nourishing the Human Spirit
!

An anonymous donor is matching the first $5 million in Endowment gifts
. This Campaign creates an opportunity for individuals and families impacted by the work of LifeCare Alliance to express their stewardship and leave their legacies in concrete and meaningful ways. Your contribution to the Endowment fund will help secure the future for LifeCare Alliance’s vital programs.
If you are interested in learning more about the Legacy Endowment Campaign, establishing a planned gift, or becoming a member of the Catherine Nelson Black Society,

In addition to this $5 million endowment match, you can also double your impact this year through a Challenge Gift!
Our anonymous donor is continuing to match new or increased donations in 2018 - up to $200,000. Just mark your donation “Challenge Gift” and you will help feed the seniors and medically challenged in our community who are most in need.

Volunteers, Partners Fuel Fan Campaign Success

This summer, our Beat the Heat Fan Campaign has collected over 2,000 fans to distribute to those in need!
We would not be able to do this without the amazing volunteer and fire station partners.
You can drop off a fan at any local fire station, and a volunteer driver will pick them up and deliver the fans to LifeCare Alliance. This is a great way for everyone to get involved by either donating a fan, becoming a volunteer, or spreading the word.
