First-Ever Day of Engagement a Success!

On June 12, LifeCare Alliance welcomed volunteers, donors, and supporters for its first-ever Day of Engagement!
The daylong affair included volunteer shifts with Meals-on-Wheels and Carrie's Cafe, a meal prepared by L.A. Catering, and an evening cocktail party and tour of our Mound Street facility.
During the Day of Engagement activities, participants learned more about our
Legacy Endowment Campaign and $5 million match challenge
. An anonymous donor has pledged to match the first $5 million in gifts to our endowment campaign. There's no better time to give and help preserve the future of our organization!

Agency Helps Central Ohioans 'Beat the Heat'

With the arrival of summer, LifeCare Alliance has kicked off the annual "Beat the Heat" fan campaign!
Throughout the summer, LifeCare Alliance, with the help of volunteers and area fire stations, will collect and distribute box fans to families in need, helping to reduce and eliminate heat-related fatalities in central Ohio.
To contribute to this campaign, you may drop off a new box fan in its original packaging to your local Franklin County fire station or our distribution center at 670 Harmon Ave. Additionally, you may
purchase a fan on our Amazon Wish List and have it delivered directly to us!
If you are in need of a fan, call our fan hotline at 614-437-2870 for information on distribution dates and times. We can only distribute what we have in stock, so quantities are limited.

LifeCare Alliance Volunteers Reunite

On June 18, LifeCare Alliance held its first-ever Volunteer Reunion!
This was a rare opportunity to gather longtime past and present volunteers — who would normally be working in the community — in one place to celebrate their contributions to the Agency.
Volunteers enjoyed dinner and chatted about their years of service with LifeCare Alliance.
To all who participated, THANK YOU for your time serving the community and your years of Nourishing the Human Spirit!

Red Carpet Day at Camp
Supporters of the Central Ohio Diabetes Association's Camp Hamwi are invited for a special visit to camp!
Guests will tour the camp, observe camper activities, and learn how the camp functions. Lunch will be served in the main lodge with the campers.
Tours are offered July 24 and July 31.
