A New Milestone for the Endowment Campaign
|
We've reached a major milestone in our Endowment Campaign!
Just months since we announced this major initiative to secure our future,
we are proud to announce that we have reached $1 million in endowment gifts!
In February at our annual Big Wheels event, it was announced that
an anonymous donor is matching the first $5 million in this campaign
. Supporters of the work of LifeCare Alliance can use this opportunity to express their stewardship and leave their legacies in concrete and meaningful ways. Contributing to this fund will help secure the future for LifeCare Alliance’s vital programs.
The Agency is so grateful for those who have donated to this campaign, and celebrate this achievement in securing our future. There is still more to be done, and in order to make a permanent difference for our clients, we must continue to build our endowment to our goal of $20 million.
If you are interested in learning more about the Legacy Endowment Campaign, establishing a planned gift, or becoming a member of the Catherine Nelson Black Society,
please contact Rebecca Hurd, Director of Advancement at 614-437-2867 or Chuck Gehring, President and CEO at 614-437-2801.

In addition to this $5 million endowment match, you can also double your impact this year through a Challenge Gift!
Our anonymous donor is continuing to match new or increased donations in 2018 - up to $200,000. Just mark your donation “Challenge Gift” and you will help feed the seniors and medically challenged in our community who are most in need.

Project Blues Recap
Thank you to
Project Blues
for another amazing concert benefiting the Columbus Cancer Clinic!
This year's headliner, The Jimmie Vaughan Trio, electrified the crowd, and that was before they brought out a surprise special guest, Eric Clapton!
We'd like to thank all of the performers, supporters, volunteers, and guests who made this special event possible!

Back to School Volunteers
We had two amazing groups of volunteers kicking the school year off by volunteering at LifeCare Alliance! The Columbus Academy had their faculty in covering 50 Meals-on-Wheels routes for their service day. They were ready to deliver and made sure our clients received a healthy and nutritious meal.
Hastings Middle School also started their school year with a day of service. The students served at our senior dining centers, the Groceries-to-Go pantry, worked in our kitchens, and delivered Meals-on-Wheels!
Call 614-444-MEAL to schedule your group for a volunteer day!
