“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Indeed, by faith our ancestors received approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.”

A big thanks to all who helped transform the entry-way bulletin boards: Nancy DeAngelis, Trish Macri-Dainis, and Bonnie Rohner for completing the arduous job of stripping many layers off the old displays; Penny Miller for donating fabric that was used to cover the boards and make ruffles for our donation grocery carts; Gloria Brosious for cutting the material; Sara King, Bettie Lohman, Barbara Ma, Sheri Perkins, Tina Leach, and Gloria Brosious for the lettering; Bill Reich for finding pictures; and Debbie Chromeck for printing them. It was a group effort for sure!

View The Church Directory
For the last several months, Lord of Life has been using a digital, on-line church pictorial directory. Many of our church members have installed the software on their home computers and cell phones to access it.
You can now also see it by clicking on the link below.
To View The Directory - Click Here
Please take a look at your listing in the directory. Did you notice that your photo or your family photo is missing or out of date? If so, you can send the church an updated photo that will be placed into this directory by sending an email to photos@lordlife.us containing the attachment of your photo. Remember that we are more interested in seeing your faces rather than beautiful background scenes!
Contact Tom Tait (856-725-2450 or tom.tait@comcast.net) if you would like more information, or would like to have this church photo directory installed onto your cell phone.

Maintenance tasks included installing a new mailbox flag and replacing the ceiling tiles in the women's restroom. Fluorescent light bulbs were replaced in several fixtures.
We also donated a number of no longer used children's toys, furniture, and books to the 2A Thrift Store in Voorhees (a supporter of the Purple Heart Veterans).
The inside cleaning included; vacuuming, dusting, window washing, and sill cleaning in several church offices, the entry vestibule, the Narthex, Sanctuary, Sacristy, and Fellowship Hall.
"Many hands made light work" Thank you!

Happy Mother's Day!
Sunday, May 11th is the day we will honor all mothers. Here is a poem f our moms.
"God's Masterpiece" by Herbert Farnham
God took the fragrance of a flower,
The majesty of a tree,
The gentleness of morning dew,
The calm of a quiet sea.
The beauty of the twilight hour,
The soul of a starry night,
The laughter of a rippling brook,
The grace of a bird in flight.
Then God fashioned from these things,
A creation like no other,
And when his masterpiece was through,
He called it simply - Mother.

The church choir sang the spiritual, Deep River, during a service several weeks ago. The congregation was moved by this powerful piece of music. Here it is again, this time sung by the Tabernacle Choir At Temple Square. Most of you know the singers by the name, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir. On October 5, 2018, the group changed its name to its current title. Enjoy!
