myDoctorChannel Helps Meet Seniors' Care Needs
myFamilyChannel is already impacting the lives of seniors with its social and communication platform. Now, the company has a new platform, myDoctorChannel, that expands the use of its technology to serve users' health care needs while gathering data and securely connecting seniors with physicians, family and insurers.
"There are many quality measures that need to be met and physicians have trouble gathering that data at point of care," said myFamilyChannel Chief Medical Officer Dr. Praveen Arla, citing things like depression and falls screenings or incontinence measures.
"We make it fun and engaging. And once the data is collected, the ultimate goal is to get it back to the physician or health plan - wherever it needs to go."
