Philippians 4:11-13 (KJV)
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Are you/how do YOU view YOUR life-a VICTIM or a VICTOR?????????????????????
It is all in PERSPECTIVE!!!
Most, if not all of us, have a very good reason to feel sorry for ourselves-WE ALL HAVE TROUBLES AND TRIALS......
After ANOTHER rough night of little sleep, I went to get little Amanda's lunch. As I stood in line, the director, who well knows my “troubles” asked me how I was doing.
Sadly, I caught myself portraying the VICTIM side of my life as she nodded in quite sympathy.
But, in theory and ACTUALITY I/YOU/ME are NOT sad, defeated victims of THIS life!!!
Romans 8:37 (KJV)
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
WE ARE “MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM THAT LOVED US!!!!”
Romans 8:38-39 (KJV)
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
As I write today's message, I am WELL AWARE of the suffering so many of you are undergoing.
Rare is the day I do not arise to the cries of fellow Believers pain.
Rare is the night I can lie down in peace at night.
Rare is the days and nights I NOT find myself interceding for YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY troubles, my pain and suffering, my trials and tribulations pale in PERSPECTIVE among those of YOU whom God has entrusted to my pastoral care.
Job 14:1 (KJV)
1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.
Daily, I observe others leaning on canes and walkers, hoisting oxygen packs on their backs, walking in painful, halting steps-rare is the one who carries no pain or grief DAILY.
WE have a daily choice:

LIFE OR DEATH, BLESSING OR CURSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I preach to myself today!!! I don't feel wonderful TODAY!!! I got much to complain about and if you really push me, I will gladly tell you my troubles, pain and suffering.
How well do I remember Brother Mushegan advising us:
“SOMETIMES ON HAS TO GRAB THEMSELVES BY THE BACK OF THE SHIRT COLLAR AND THROW OURSELVES DOWN AT THE ALTER OF GOD!!!!!
WE have to SHAKE OURSELVES and refuse to get down in the dumps with a POOR ME attitude-AMEN!!!!!!!!???????????????
