Hanukkah Candle Lighting
Join us for a Ramah Rockies Chanukah candle lighting & trivia night! We'll celebrate the fourth night of Chanukah with beautiful singing and candle lighting, a game of Kahoot, and an opportunity to connect with your camp friends. This is a celebration not to be missed! (Second device is recommended but not required for Kahoot.)

Akiva Jackson
Akiva is currently working at Hillel Deutschland, teaching Talmud and running Jewish programs for the amazingly diverse Jewish community in Berlin. When he's not meeting new people, he loves reading all kinds of books, running, biking on cool evenings with the wind in his face, and hiking. He had a total blast this summer at Rockies, running backpacking trips with kids of all ages, and can’t wait to apply his experience in outdoor leadership to a zoom series on practical leadership for Rockies staff. 
Alex Hargiss
Alex is from Fort Lauderdale, FL and is currently a junior studying Music Business with Entrepreneurship in Nashville, TN. She spent her summers as a camper at Ramah Darom, and this past summer was her first summer at Ramah in the Rockies and she fell in love with it! Her favorite camp memory from this past year was leading the Bogrim bike masa with Alon and Benghis (two other staff members). It was inspiring for her to watch all the kids connect and grow through being physically and mentally challenged throughout the five days in Buffalo Creek. She is very excited to see what summer 2022 brings, and she is thrilled to continue growing as a Jewish leader. 

Kyle Rampp
Originally from Potomac, Maryland, Kyle decided to brave the unknown and accept a bunk position the summer of 2015 at a camp he had never heard of before...Ramah in the Rockies. The rest, as they say, is history. He loves camp with all of his heart, from the cardboard-tasting Cheerios at breakfast to the song filled bonfires at night. Camp gives us all a chance to be wacky, get out of our comfortable zones and into a stretch zone, and explore our Jewish identities. When he's not backpacking the Rocky Mountains with a brigade of rowdy teenagers, he is pursuing a Physical Education degree while coaching youths in all manner of athletic activities. He is looking forward to another hijinks-filled summer and facilitating the camper series on backcountry skills, focusing on the ten essentials, backpacking basics, fire safety, and Leave No Trace. See you there!
