NEWS
Light for Every Birth matching fund at nearly 45%
In June, an anonymous donor offered to match all donations, up to $100,o00, to our program installing solar suitcases in 50 rural health clinics in Mozambique. As of July 28, our generous supporters have donated almost $45,000. The match ends September 28.

Supporting South Sudanese refugees returning home
PWRDF is partnering with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank and FinnChurchAid to deliver the Humanitarian, Early Recovery, and Development (HERD) program in South Sudan. HERD helps people experiencing long-term hunger who have been disproportionately impacted by the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mapping the Ground
We Zoom On
Mapping the Ground We Stand On is a physical, interactive workshop that aims to understand the impact of colonialism on Indigenous populations by inviting participants to “walk on” to a map of Canada, both literally and figuratively.
