Filming begins on Saturday, July 18!

This Saturday, JAM will begin production on Valley Transit, our first feature film, with 80+ crew, cast, interns, volunteers, and more who call the Upper Valley home.

As the vehicle for JAM’s Summer Feature Film Intensive (SFFI), the film doubles as a educational opportunity for students to work alongside a professional crew on a film bound for festivals and theatrical release.

GET INVOLVED

To make this project come to life, we need lots of local participation––that means you! We’re looking for volunteer background actors (also known as “extras”) to help showcase Upper Valley life: think ice cream at Fore-U, the Norwich Fair, and spirited local activism. No acting experience necessary.

We’re ESPECIALLY looking for extras for TWO MAJOR SCENES:

SALT HILL PUB SCENE

Tue Jul 21: EVENING/NIGHT

As a Salt Hill Customer, you will bring the bustling atmosphere of Salt Hill Pub to life. We plan to start shooting in the late evening. Since it is an all night shoot, we will provide you with snacks and a free meal midway through, if you stay for at least one of the first two shifts!

LYMAN POINT/RIVER PARK PROTEST

Tue Jul 28: EVENING/NIGHT

As a River Park Protester, you will ignite the passion of a crowd. We plan to start shooting in the evening. Since it is an all night shoot, we will provide you with snacks and a free meal midway through, if you stay for at least one of the first two shifts! We need as many people as possible to stay for all three shifts.
