Il Pirandello Italian Language Center (PILC), founded in 1973, is one of the oldest Italian language programs in New England. Partially funded by the Italian government, PILC has the resources and faculty members to offer high quality lessons. All classes are taught by professionally trained, as well as highly successful, teachers. It is their passion to share how beautiful and interesting the Italian language truly is.
Through professional development programs, our teachers constantly integrate new and contemporary teaching methods to see the best results in their students. This includes not only teaching Italian, but exposing our students to science, art, music, and geography in Italian as well. PILC language programs are offered to both children and adults on Saturdays from 10 AM -12:15 PM in the historical and beautiful North End of Boston at St. John Elementary School.
