| | REVELSTOKE CHAMBER CELEBRATED IN THE REVELSTOKE MOUNTAINEER | | We'd like to thank the Revelstoke Mountaineer for their recent article about the Revelstoke Chamber and the work our team and board does for the business, and wider, community. | | | We’ve been busy with our policy and advocacy work. Our CEO attended the Chamber of Commerce Executives of BC (CCEBC) conference and joined their board of directors in early June. This event is a think tank for Chamber senior management to gather and share important insights on how we can better serve our communities. | | |
This was followed by the BC Chamber conference where connection to elected officials and heads of provincial and national corporations was fostered. One of the highlights of course, was the annual Provincial policy debate where the Chamber network votes on which policies will be presented to the Provincial government. These range from; immigration, cannabis, trade, electric bills for small businesses, paid sick leave, the step code and much more. 38 policies were passed in total.
