An Unforgettable Night of Pickleball

Hot Summer Nights Exceeds Expectations

Our Hot Summer Nights celebration was a tremendous success, bringing an exciting evening of world-class pickleball to the Steamboat Tennis & Pickleball Complex. Fans enjoyed an unforgettable exhibition featuring Jayson Harris, Dustin Spalding, and professional siblings JW Johnson and Jorja Johnson, creating one of the highest-level pickleball events Steamboat has ever hosted.

Thank you to everyone who attended, our generous donors who supported the Pickleball Complex, and our incredible players for putting on an outstanding show.

We're excited to share that outdoor Pickleball courts 13-16 will be receiving a full resurfacing this summer. This project will provide a significantly improved playing experience with refreshed court surfaces, better consistency, and enhanced court quality for everyone. To complete this work, outdoor courts 13-16 will be closed from July 13 through July 27, pending cooperative weather. During this period, a small number of PCT groups will be temporarily relocated to alternate courts. We have worked to minimize disruptions and ensure all affected groups maintain their regularly scheduled playing times. If your group is impacted, you will receive a separate email outlining your temporary court assignment for the affected dates.

Taking place Tuesday, July 28, at Flying Diamond Ranch, the theme of this year’s event is Great Gatsby- An Evening of Sport, Spectacle & Style. 

The evening will feature craft cocktails by Brush Creek Ranch, a multi-course dinner by Harwigs, entertainment, a live and silent auction and more.

Tickets to the Center Court SMASH are $250 per person

Table Sponsorships from $1K - $20K

Proceeds from the SMASH will benefit tennis and pickleball players of all ages and abilities. Ticket and auction proceeds contribute to reducing the $5M loan on the Pickleball Center, renovating the Tennis Center, underwriting programs for youth and nonprofits, and keeping playing costs low for the public.
