We'd like to start by thanking everyone for the kindness, support and encouragement. You've all helped keep the fire of purpose and determination burning.

Opened. Closed. Opened. Closed. For the most part there was nothing we could do even though we wanted to be there for you throughout this very challenging period.
We are reopening LEGALLY under the Reopening Act of Ontario O.Reg 82/20 this Thursday June 3rd ONLY TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY. You have the right to keep the nature of your disability confidential, however, choosing to disclose that information to our instructors would be instrumental in the specific and effective facilitation of treatment. The uniqueness of heating our spaces is one of the main reasons we qualify to operate. Instructors will be there for guidance and support. Theraputic sequences will be available if needed.
Those who qualify includes persons with:
- Mental health conditions, temporary or permanent, of any kind (inc. depression, stress, anxiety)
- Physical impairments
- Musculoskeletal injuries (injuries that affect muscles, tendons, joints, ligaments, bones, nerves and blood vessels)
- Brain injury and concussion
- Cognitive impairments (trouble remembering, learning new things, concentrating, or making decisions that affect everyday life)
Patrons must have a letter of recommendation for hot yoga from a registered health professional (ie. Family Doctor, Chiropractor, Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, etc…).
All letters will be kept on file in the strictest of confidence with your membership contract to protect your privacy.
MEMBERSHIPS & PASSES
As communicated in our last email, all monthly memberships were terminated earlier this month and all timed-passes and memberships left alone because we did not know when we’d be able to reopen, either for limited or regular services. Passes don't expire unless specified. Monthly memberships and passes can be purchased through the Modo Yoga App when you’re ready. If you have a timed pass or membership you’ll have to contact firstname.lastname@example.org so we can calculate an extension that makes sense.
For your convenience, we are making BOTH OF OUR LOCATIONS AVAILABLE with limited schedules. Please use the Modo Yoga App to view and book and remember our Windsor and Tecumseh locations have separate schedules.
HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS SUMMARY
You must pass the COVID-19 screening questionnaire to enter our facilities. Bring all your own gear and come dressed to practise. Masks must be worn until you get to your mat although if you prefer, you may wear your mask for the duration of your visit. Please sanitize your hands upon entry and anytime you instinctively need to. The changerooms and showers are still off limits. You may use the toilets and sinks if needed. Our space is sanitized frequently. Our updated safety plan is located at the desk of both locations.
