A Peek into January
Happy New Year! We have an avalanche of fun planned for 2020! We will be learning and playing new gym games, learning our names in Morse Code, breathing like dragons, doing some yoga moves, and offering food project / comfort cooking experiences.

We will also revisit our Space Expectations and PBIS process (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) with the students. Periodically reviewing and reminding these important systems keeps the positive fun flowing - everyone knows what to do! If you have any questions about PBIS, please don't hesitate to ask!

Student led Clubs will also take place this month - these clubs are typically themed with areas of high interest to many - cannot wait to see what they come up with and plan!

You can take a peek at our January Activity Calendar posted in the Cafe near the Podium. Our Camps & Clubs for the month are also listed on the Calendar.

Look for camp posters and sign up sheets posted on the Bulletin Board!
Looking Back on December
December was magical and marvelous at Lincoln Extended Day! Our Camps & Clubs this month were all very popular!
Miss Deb's Creative Play camp was a hit with many -favorites included DIY Mancala and 3-D Tic Tac Toe boards. Both were played with immediately after construction. Designing ornaments and mini gingerbread houses were favorites in Miss Ariyana's Winter Crafts Camp and the canvas paining in the Maker-space Camp was also a kiddo favorite.
Winter Wonderland with Miss Amanda was amazing! The students were so dedicated, creative, and learned about teamwork and compromise. Not to mention traditions of Hanuka, Kwanzaa, and Russian celebrations.

Miss Carrie, Miss Samantha, and a group of students took their show on the road, caroling to, at, and from Washington Square Senior Apartments - such a JOYful experience for all!

Also, the NSDs at Otter Lake were jam- packed with SnOw much fun, indoors & out!
