Your Voice Matters - Please make time to get out and VOTE on Tuesday November 5th!

On this day White Bear Lake Area School District residents will vote whether to provide funding for building needs across the district. Please be an informed voter - you can  Learn more here .
A Few Kind Reminders!

Wear/Bring Tennis Shoes Daily
Please have your child bring or wear tennis shoes each day. We offer the gym as a space choice everyday and follow the same rule as the school day: shoes other than tennis are not allowed for play in the gym or on the rock climbing wall.

Weather Appropriate Attire
The children go outside nearly everyday and early morning/late afternoons can be chilly! Please send along appropriate outerwear. As winter and snow approach we will require all the gear - snow pants, boots, hats, mittens / gloves, etc in order to go outside. We encourage you to LABEL your child(ren)s gear - we will have a black sharpie at the sign in / out area :)

Toys From Home
On Thursdays, students are able to bring a non violent toy / game from home. This can include an electronic, though no cell phones please. Electronic toys / games are allowed during designated times only.

* Please r emind your child(ren) that they are responsible for their own toys, and no trading please!

A Peek into November
OMGoodness, how is it November already? We are really looking forward to this month! So many things to be grateful for; we are excited to reflect on that with the kiddos as well as all the other fun & engaging activities we have planned. Highlights include everything from salt dough and DIY stress balls, to building towers and timed challenges!

We also have two Service Projects going this month! One is collecting Coats and Boots for the White Bear Lake Area Educational Foundations 'The Closet', and the other is packing oral hygiene products with Community Dental Care on the November 18th NonSchoolDay!

You can take a peek at our November Activity Calendar posted in the Cafe on the Bulletin Board!

Looking Back on October
October started out EGG-cellent here in Extended Day! Students put their minds to work and assembled containers for an Egg Drop! We also celebrated National Custodians Day by making fun posters to show our Custodians how much we appreciate all they do for us - both Gail & Jim really appreciated the kiddos kind and clever-ness, and the candy was good too!

Our camps were also a hit this month! Painting Camp was packed, and our outside camps, Football Camp & BearScare Boot Camp, got a little soggy and chilly - though it didn't stop the enthusiasm!

Mid Month brought the Non School Days
hosted at our sister site, Otter Lake. We enJOYed the beautiful weather, a field trip to the newly remodeled Skyzone, and having fun w/ friends from other schools.

As the month wrapped up excitement grew around our Penny Wars - our Octobers Service Project to benefit the Red Cross Hurricane Relief.

We also hosted two Family Events in October:
A Ciderfest to celebrate the first few weeks of Back to School & Friendship, Fun & Fall.
A Magic Show to celebrate ‘Lights on Afterschool’, our Families, and our Program!
