Lincoln Square Ravenswood Apple Fest

Join the Lincoln Square and Ravenswood Business Community tomorrow, Saturday, September 21st for the 26th Annual Apple Fest! The festivities start at 9am and continue until 5pm on Lincoln Avenue between Leland and Lawrence.

We hope you come out and celebrate the beginning of fall and enjoy this free community event!

Apple Inspired Dishes

Ready to try some of the best apple dishes on the northside? We sure are! Stop by on Saturday and visit some of the best restaurants in the neighborhood as they serve up some amazing apple inspired dishes. From caramel apples to apple pizza to pulled chicken sandwiches with apple and fennel slaw there's sure to be something for everyone!

Kids Zone Activities

Looking for something to do with the little ones on Saturday? Stop by the Kids Zone at Lincoln and Lawrence between 9am and 2pm for several different activities brought to you by local businesses from around the community.

9am - Pooch Parade w/ Urban Pooch
10am - Family Yoga w/ Bloom Yoga Studio
11am - Story Time w/ the Book Cellar
12pm - Wiggleworms w/ Old Town School of Folk
1pm - Soda Making Seminar w/ Brew Camp

Tunes of Giddings Plaza

Hangout in Giddings Plaza during Apple Fest and listen to some great tunes by local musicians. Music begins at 9am and lasts until the fest ends at 5pm.

Fun for Your Pets

The 3rd Annual Pooch Costume Contest and Parade - Sponsored by Urban Pooch Canine Life Center - begins at 9am in the Kids Zone! This is an amazingly fun opportunity to parade your special pooch in front of our special panel of judges in hope of winning great prizes and bragging rights to The Lincoln Square Pooch Hall of Fame.

Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

Scariest -- Most Adorable -- Most Original -- Best Dog/Owner Look-Alike -- and also Best Overall

This year's EMCEE is Robin Rock, Legendary Chicago radio personality! Let your pooch join in on all of the fun at Apple Fest. We'll see you both there!
