Sanitation Service Alerts for Christmas Day and New Year's Day
Due to the back-to-back Monday holidays, the Department of Sanitation has made some changes in trash and recycling collection. Residents will not be required to hold recycling material for multiple weeks and should place their materials out at curbside Monday evening after 4:00pm on both December 25 and January 1. Bus Stop Relocation on Columbus Ave
Due to construction in the area, the M11 bus stop at Columbus Avenue between 60th and 61st Streets has been temporarily relocated to 9th Avenue and 59th Street, just one block south. This relocation will be in effect until January 12, 2018 when construction is completed. Alternatively, passengers can catch the M11 at the previous stop, Columbus Avenue and 63rd Street. Visit
