Parking is available in the GTEC parking lot at 2153 SE Hawthorne Rd.

Shuttle service to and from the park will be provided 30 minutes before and after the ceremony.  

Celebrate the completion of a new park in Gainesville!


The City of Gainesville’s Wild Spaces & Public Places program and the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department invite you to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Lincoln Yard Park located at 2099 SE Eighth Ave.


Funded by the Wild Spaces & Public Places surtax, the new park includes a 1/3 mile walking trail, landscaping, a small playground, adult fitness equipment and interpretive signage. Construction costs totaled $369,733.
