Lincoln Common Affordable Apartments Accepting Applications
Saturday, April 13
2424 N. Lincoln
An important key feature of the Lincoln Common development is the first new affordable housing built in our Ward in 35 years. Over the next several month, 54 apartments aimed at working people will become available.
The chart at left details the maximum household size and income for the units. The rents listed are fixed and will not be changed even if your income is less than the levels shown.
THE FIRST 300 ATTENDEES TO SUBMIT A COMPLETE PRE-APPLICATION WILL BE PLACED ON THE WAITING LIST
The waiting list will be closed after 300 names have been added. The applicants will not be applying for, touring or obtaining approval to rent an apartment at this event. No fees are due or will be accepted at the event. Please see the attached flyer for additional event details.
THE HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD MUST ATTEND
The head of household is the only member of the family that should attend unless help is needed to complete the waitlist application form.
Applicants will receive an email communication two (2) weeks after the event notifying you of your position on the waiting list. Applicants who made the waiting list, will be notified via email when it is their turn to complete the full rental application forms. Making the waiting list in no way guarantees qualification for affordable housing or approval to rent an apartment.
To complete the waitlist pre-application, the following information must be provided at the event:
- Name and birthdates of all household members
- Current address
- Current phone number(s) and email address(es)
- Estimated gross annual household income
- Estimated value of household assets
- VALID GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID OF HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD SUBMITTING THE WAITLIST PRE-APPLICATION
Sign ups begin on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Lincoln Hall located at 2424 N. Lincoln Ave. from 9 a.m.
