Over the next few weeks, you may see people on the property. Now that the wetlands conservation easement has been recorded, the City is having exploratory appraisals done for the property. The activity is only occurring in preparation for beginning discussions with the City Council to decide whether to declare and sell the property as surplus or not.
Any decision by the City Council will be made in a public meeting, and once meeting dates have been selected, a public notice will go out. We will also send another e-update with those meeting dates. The meetings will likely occur this coming fall.
