Kleysen Park Improvement Project Update

The Linden Woods Community Foundation's role in the recent improvements at Kleysen Park revolved around expanding the play structure. The overall project started in 2022 and was completed this year, and included improvements and upgrades, such as gravel paths, a covered picnic area, bicycle racks, more benches and trees. The City of Winnipeg managed the project.

The Foundation received donations of over $75,000, the majority of which were from the Kleyson family. There is a plaque in memory of Bernice Kleysen being installed this month at the park on the bench that is along the pathway between the play structure and the covered picnic area. Stop by for a rest and enjoy the park!
