Fall 2026 Course Schedule & Advising

The Fall course offering schedule will publish soon. Once it does, your student should receive an invitation from their advisor to meet and discuss their future classes. Remind your student to lookout for an email from their advisor. Even though enrollment won’t open until the end of March, if your student waits until the last minute to meet, their advisor might not have any availability. 

Student Academic Support Services (SASS)

Each semester can bring new challenges. If your student needs a little extra support or to speak with an academic coach, the Student Academic Support Services (SASS) office is the university’s one-stop academic success shop. SASS provides academic success workshops (like study skills and time management), individualized success coaching, accommodations and accessibility services, and testing services. The office also offers a quiet study space for students and free popcorn on Fridays. Encourage your student to pop by the SASS office the next time they mention a difficult course or assignment. 

Spring II Tuition

The financial aid clearance date for the Spring II term is March 1, 2026. Students should contact their Financial Aid Advisor if they need assistance. 

Submit the 2026-27 FAFSA

The 2026–27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is open. Applying early helps students qualify for the most scholarships and grants possible. Submit a FAFSA. 

Fall 2026 Housing Sign‑Up Update for Families & Supporters 

The process for securing on‑campus housing for Fall 2026-Spring 2027 is right around the corner, and we’re excited to get started! Housing applications will open March 2 through the StarRez portal. Now is a great time to remind your student to regularly check their LU email, where they’ll receive 

important information such as their assigned sign‑up date and step‑by‑step instructions. The Office of Residential Life looks forward to supporting your student as they choose their home on campus for Fall 2026! 

Mane Connection is Lindenwood’s online hub for student involvement, helping students discover clubs, events, leadership opportunities, and ways to get connected on campus. Families and supporters can best support their students by encouraging them to explore Mane Connection early and often as a way to build friendships, develop leadership skills, and feel a stronger sense of belonging. Whether your student is looking to join an organization, attend campus events, or seek a leadership role, Mane Connection is the best place to get started. 

2026 Commencement Details Announced

The University will host five ceremonies over three days, May 7-9, 2026. All ceremonies will take place on campus in Hyland Arena, with each ceremony lasting 60-90 minutes. Guests will be required to have a ticket for entry and all ceremonies will be live streamed. An email will be sent to students 

regarding the ticket registration process after the student has placed their regalia order. Additional information is available online.

Thursday, May 7 at 7 p.m.: Students earning graduate-level degrees from the College of Science, Technology, and Health, Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship, and College of Arts and Humanities

Friday, May 8 at 7 p.m.: Students earning undergraduate-level degrees from the Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship

Saturday, May 9 at 10 a.m.: Students earning undergraduate-level degrees from the College of Science, Technology, and Health

Saturday, May 9 at 2 p.m.: Students earning undergraduate-level degrees from the College of Arts and Humanities

Saturday, May 9 at 6 p.m.: Students earning graduate and undergraduate degrees from the College of Education and Human Services

FERPA

The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of a student’s educational records. Once a student is enrolled, the university generally communicates directly with the student, even when parents or supporters are assisting academically or financially. This includes billing, financial aid, registration, grades, housing, and academic progress. 

How Students Grant FERPA Authorization 

Students who wish to allow Lindenwood staff to speak with a parent or trusted supporter must submit a FERPA Authorization through the Student Portal (Self-Service). 

The authorization remains on file unless the student updates or removes it. 

Steps to Set Up FERPA Authorization

1. Log in to the Lindenwood Student Portal (Self-Service). 
2. Select User Options or Personal Information. 
3. Click FERPA Authorization (or FERPA Release). 
4. Add authorized individual(s) and select information to share. 
5. Save and submit.
