How long have you been in the Chamber profession
1 year and 9 months

How long have you been in your current position
6 months

What do you love most about your job
What I enjoy the most about my job at the Chamber is the relationships I have built with our local business community and being a part of the growth and expansion of an amazing region.

Aside from colleagues at your Chamber, which Chamber Executive has had the biggest impact on your career and how?
Gina Suydam from the Wyoming County Chamber was one of the first Chamber professionals I met when I came on board at my position. She has been a wonderful resource and Chamber partner for events, regional planning and strategy and has also been a wonderful mentor to myself and my team.

What is your Chamber's signature event
Our Chamber's Signature Event would be our Annual Dinner. It is held every year in November, and we draw over 500 people from our business community. We switched the format to a networking environment with interactive food stations with an open seating lounge feel, activities such as Putting for Charity - done by our Young Professionals Network, a photo backdrop area - done by our Women's' Network and digital displays featuring unique sponsor advertisements. We also feature a short but dynamic video presentation for our awards, which feature Charitable Organization of the Year, in which a portion of all event proceeds are given to them that night, Legacy and Emerging Businesses of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and the Pride of Place Awards and Healthy Workplace Awards. We invite the entire business community as well as the local college and university students to get them engaged with our area's professionals. To continue strengthening our social media following, we started live streaming via Facebook a "red carpet" in the beginning of the night at the event entrance to interview members, honorees and attendees hosted by one of our Chamber Ambassadors. This night is a favorite for many of our members and continues to grow each year.

What is your favorite destination outside of the one you represent and why?
I really enjoy Philadelphia as I spent four years of college at LaSalle University's Business school. I enjoy the restaurants, culture, shopping and variety of fun things to do.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up
I had two aspirations as a child, one to be a teacher and one to be a Radio City Rockette. I never pursued the teaching and never met the height requirement for a Rockette, but I thankfully ended up with a position I really enjoy at the Chamber.

Why is PACP important to you?
PACP is very important to me as it has led to so many valuable connections with other Chamber professionals and truly enhanced my professional and personal growth in this industry.
