Greetings from the Executive Director - Melissa Karrer
|
Hi Friends,
I'm so excited about November - I love the holiday season and we have so much to be thankful for at Kentucky CancerLink.
We had the opportunity to work with partner RunSwitch media to give our website a fresh, new look! Make sure you check it out after you finish reading the newsletter.
We had a busy month in October that allowed us to spend time with partners and community members across the Commonwealth. We are so grateful. There was a lot of education provided about breast cancer and we were able to get many underserved women screened through the Kentucky Women's Screening Program.
Thank you so much for following along with our mission. Let's continue our goal to be a link to hope to Kentuckians in need.
Cheers,
Melissa

We've been working on something exciting, behind the scenes, for the last few months and now we’re finally able to share with you… we launched a brand-new website! While our URL is the same: kycancerlink.org, you’ll notice a new modern look and user-friendly navigation.
Please help us spread the word about our new site, so we can continue to make a positive impact on those facing a cancer diagnosis and ensure they can easily find the services and resources they need during treatment.

Crockpot Mashed Potatoes with Cream Cheese
The unspoken rule at Thanksgiving is you have to stick to the tried-and-true family recipes and experimenting with new recipes is simply off the table. This easy slow cooker recipe for mashed potatoes is an exception to the rule. The addition of cream cheese makes these potatoes extra rich & creamy, and the slow cooker keeps them warm. Plus, you don't have a ton of extra dirty dishes to wash.
