LINK TO HOPE NEWSLETTER

A message from the Executive Director - Melissa Karrer

Hi Friends,

We have exciting news — Kentucky CancerLink has moved! Our new address is 860 Corporate Drive, Suite 103, Lexington 40503. We are just a few miles down the road from our previous location. You're welcome to stop by for a tour anytime! We'll be hosting an official ribbon cutting in November in partnership with Commerce Lexington, so keep an eye out for details!

We’re also pleased to announce a new partnership with Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana. Together we’ll offer free support programs in Lexington for cancer patients, caregivers, survivors, and those who have experienced a cancer-related loss. Programs run October through December 2025 — see the flyer below for details. We hope you can join us!

Thanks for staying connected. Together, we’ll continue to be a link to hope for our fellow Kentuckians.

Cheers,

Melissa

Out & About

Kentucky CancerLink hosted our 11th annual Links to Hope charity golf scramble on Sep. 15 at Keene Trace Golf Club's Champions Course. Thank you to our generous sponsors and to all who came out to play. This is an event we look forward to every year and we

Melanie attended CHI Saint Joseph Healthcare's cancer survivor celebration in Lexington on Sep.19th. It was a beautiful evening to honor survivors and their families.

Melanie joined the staff at KEMI in downtown Lexington on Sep.24th for their annual employee wellness fair to share resources available from KCL, for those affected by a cancer diagnosis, and reminders to make their health a priority especially when it comes to cancer screenings.
