A message from the Executive Director - Melissa Karrer

Hi Friends,

September is a busy month for us. Not only are we hosting our annual charity golf scramble, but we are also MOVING to a new location!! Beginning October 1, we will be at 860 Corporate Drive, Suite 103. It's a very exciting new chapter to our organization's story! STAY TUNED for more information! It's a great time to follow us on social media.

It's not too late to join us for our Links to Hope charity golf scramble coming up on Sep.15th! We're hosting it again at Keene Trace Golf Club~ Champions Course, one of the top-rated courses in Kentucky! Reach out to Melanie (see contact info below) to secure your spot (we still have a couple of foursome spots available).

Thank you for staying connected! Let's continue to work together to be a link to hope for our fellow Kentuckians!

Cheers,

Melissa

Please consider supporting our mission financially in 2025 so that we can continue mailing fuel cards to cancer patients with transportation barriers and providing free wigs and post mastectomy garments to women in need and to make the greatest impact in our communities throughout the Commonwealth. All of our donations stay local to help Kentuckians in need.

Your involvement can make a significant difference!

Ways to GIVE BACK!

Did you know we have an Amazon wish list?

One of our greatest needs is $25 Visa gift cards we use to send to cancer patients to help them travel to and from treatment appointments.

Amazon gift cards, in any amount, help us purchase nutritional supplements, durable medical equipment, and other items to help patients who are experiencing a cancer diagnosis.

Delicious Ideas

Butter Pecan Granola

Homemade granola is far superior to any store-bought granola in my opinion, and it's so easy to make.

It's so versatile-add whatever ingredients you like best and enjoy this snack right out of the bag or top your favorite yogurt with it.

Homemade Apple Crisp

Apples are in season in our area right now and this is a delicious way to use those fresh picked apples.

I love to use Honeycrisp apples for this recipe, but you can use a variety of different types. You can't go wrong.

Apple Cider

If you've ever had fresh apple cider at an orchard, you'll never forget it. There's really no match for it.

While it's more fun to sip apple cider at the orchard, you can also make it at home for a lot less and it's so much easier than you could imagine.
